W illiam Stoller LET'S GO SOMEWHERI-3 This is a story of a restless young married couple who prefer to go somewhere rather than enjoy a quiet evening at home. Act I. Finds the young couple preparing for a peppy evening. The wise crack- ing ultra modern couple do not agree on the destination. In the courseof the evening Mrs. Wilson meets an old friend, actor of an old school, who persuades her to go away and leave the youngsters on their own. She accepts the idea and leaves to visit her brother, Ezra. Act II. Jane, the wife, turns into an expert cook, Meanwhile Uncle Ezra decides to visit his sister Mary, Imagine Jane's surprise to find two Uncle Ezra's in the same house. Act III. Jane pulls a surprise on Harry and both ponder the fate of their mother. Colonel Meadows feeling blue, comes to combort them and in turn is comforted. Everything turns out OK and everyone is happy. Julie and Stewart try to break up the romance between Tony and Barbara. Stewart runs off with Barbara and they have an airplance accident. Buddie and Betty Smith stage a fight in Pa's garage lwithout Pa's consentj on the night of the party. They are almost caught but with Aunt Bella's help, they escape. Sally, who is an artist, shows her picture to Dick. He doesn't understand and 1' she becomes angry. The Professor is about knocked off his feet several times but ends up proposing to Aunt Bella. The play ends happily except for Buddie. Page 29
