X ff As soon as all the delegates arrive everyone is seated. Myrtle Herring- ton, head of section 10297358420-33594-57421069, gives a report that all secretaries under her are busily typing out propaganda leaflets to be dis- tributed throughout the world. She mentions a few of those in her huge staff: Diane Johnson, Kathy Keenan, Angie Mimmo, Louise Paoli, Carol Pelu- so and Barbara Roberts. Secretarial Staff leader Carol Covatti, reports that her International Staff consists of many former H. S. P. students. They are: Joan Catale, Mary Dombek, Kate Drexler, Carol Finnerty, Loretta Gam- boli, Barbara Lisewski, Diane Livsey, and Gail Muntz. Many of Haverstraw's kind housewives, whose maiden names were: Jane Reilly, Virginia Brush, Claire Jauntig, Kathy Atkins, Carol Stever, Mary Lou Townsend, and Priscilla Turner, serve coffee and sandwiches to all. Teacher Thomas Depatto reports that all the teachers in his district, Judith Israelson, Patricia Gokey, Marcia Townsend, Mary Lathrop, Emil LoPresti, Bill Stokes and Angela Sansonetti are brain washing their pupils against the evils of the Jellonists. After his report some entertainment is provided by model Claudette Mower who shows the most luxurious Fashions by Leo Rotunda for the women present. Meanwhile fashion con- sultant Eileen McCabe explains the styles, weight-lifter, Steve Soha flexes his arm and shoulder muscles for the squealing ladies. Deborah Lynch dramatizes a Shakespearean scene and receives a tremendous ova- tion. A clarinet concert is played by Pat Toms, accompanied by Dennis Zugibe on the bongos. Resuming the reports, Jim Cochrane, the head of the Anti-Jellonist Personal Relations Board, reports that his assistants, Kenneth D'Andrea, John Fiore, and Ruth Broskey haven't made much headway in their field. Madame McCulloch sees head Anti-Jellonist nurse Lucille Adinolti, and her assistants Judy Brophy, Diane Dunham, Janet Haher, and Margie Hammond, quietly taking food and drinks from the hospital kitchens, and bringing them to the underground headquarters in the secret sub-sub- basement of the hospital. Meanwhile, under the sneaky leadership of Harvey Wachman, the dictator's terrorist agents Anthony Antonini, Kenny Beyers, Karen Brooker, Dawn Brophy, Donna Cook, Kenny D'Andrea, Rita Frank and Joe Koval are scrupulously investigating Haverstraw's high spots-Meyer's Grocery Store and Hoyer's Deluxe Ice Cream parlor-for underground activities. Anti-Jellonists are coming from all over the world. Jim Huvane, from Vienna, meets Joe Cacciopo, head-waiter at the Conrad-Khrushchev Hotel, in Moscow. They join Peter Lipinsky, U. S. ambassador to England, at Lon- don. Filipino missionary, Lemuel Guerrero, is also there. They board a Ruddy-Good Airlines plane fwhich the Russians made firstl, piloted by the renowned test pilot, Roger Palmer, and co-pilot, Anthony Hoyer fthe Russians invented them tool. Schmirnott's Vodka is being served by stewardesses Peggy Crescenzo, and Lenora Bubbles McCabe. Arriving safely at Idlewild Airport, they are met by underground Chauffeurs John Calhoune, Hugh Sibley, George Ramirez, and Thomas Q?- 7 67

ff' Ryder, and are whisked away in long, sleek black hearses, followed by flower cars. Arriving at their destination they are met at the parking lot by head attendant Steve Kaplan and his subordinates, Frank Morina, Rich- ard Galt, and Ronald Zendler. Receptionist Maureen Hoban iots down the names of new arrivals to the underground meeting as they arrive. She summons nurses to guide the representatives to the secret chamber where the meeting will be held. An- swering the call are Donna Juett, Chris Leahy, Phyllis Palcic, and Karen Welsh. The group of delegates is divided among them and they travel through various corridors. At a secret door midway, they meet med. technician Selene Ducharme. She in turn guides them to Pathologist, Stephanie Kosto, who leads them through the winding underground paths. Again they come to a secret door. The latch on a small covered window is lifted. Adrienne Tanzi's left eye is visible. She asks for the passwords. But people, they whisper. A part of the wall slides open and they enter a dimly lit natural cavern, which has stalagmites, stalactites and cob- webs, bringing back old H.S.P. classroom memories. Already seated are Virginia McCabe, President of the Undergrdund Organization, Vice President Richard Courter, Treasurer Lewis Kantrowitz, Secretary Karen Fuss and Jay Taylor, industrial engineer and leader of the International Spy Contact Squad. Standing in the outskirts, waiting for the other delegates to arrive are Debra Gelman, head of the teach- ers in the Anti-Jellionist Organization, Cynthia Dresdner, head of secre- taries in the organization, and Vincent Consigli, head of the U. S. Astro- nauts Union, which is being forcibly disbanded by the dictator and engineer Dennis Heady.
