MR. CHARLES L. WHITCOMB Superintendent of Schools MR. RICHARD C. WALLACE Assistant Superintendent of Schools Setting the pace for our public school sys- tem is the task of the administrative staff who organize a sound program of education for us students. Mr. Charles Whitcomb is constantly occu- pied with his duties as Superintendent of Schools. With the school committee, Mr. Whitcomb selects the faculties for all of Haverhill's schools, and assists them in car- rying out their curriculum. Having served as Latin instructor, Dean of Boys, and Director of Vocational Guid- ance, Mr. Richard Wallace is well qualified for his job as Assistant Superintendent of Schools. ln addition to aiding Mr. Whitcomb in deciding school policies, Mr. Wallace man- ages our schools' finances. Co-operating with Mr. Whitcomb and Mr. Wallace are the members of the School Com- mitte who are conscientious citizens who de- cide the budget, hire the faculty, arrange school transportation, and supervise school lunches.
