Celebrating its tenth year of existence, the Brozwz and Gold, official publicity organ of the Haverhill High School, justified its existence by receiving national recognition for its merit as a paper. The Brozwz and Golf! widened its scope under the reign of Raymond Tye, brother of a former editor, by joining several press associations: The Columbia Scholastic Press Association, The New lingland lnterscholastic Press Association, and The Northeastern Scholastic Press Association. The paper was otiicially represented at the sixteenth annual convention of the Colum- bia Scholastic Press Association, at which assembly the paper was recognized as third in its class throughout the country. Among its activities the Brofcvz and Gold sponsors a Journalism Club, and in its annual Literary Supplement offers opportunity to the creative members of the student body. lll
