DEDICATION In the minds of the class ot 1952 there is no one more familiar or at the same time more deserung of acclaim than Doc Wallace and thus it is to Mr lred R Wallace that the graduating class sincerely dedlcates this yearbook Doc first came to Haxerford as head football coach in 1927 and 25 years later he became director of athletics He is vyell acquainted mth eyery sport and his coaching experience is not confined to football alone for he seried as iarsity baseball coach before and trained many exceptional all round performers but his remarkable ability was never more ey ldent than during the recent football season Doc s smiling personality is a hrm part of the school and his amusing reminiscences from a colorful career haxe provided highlights for many a rainy afternoon Our feeling, for Doc can perhaps be most clearly expressed in the words of the unior Schooler who aslced in awe struck tones Doc did you really use to play for the Phillies' 4 Y 1 l s f L A ' 1 r .
