BRUCE BARRICK MONTGOMERX' 271 Forrest Rd. Merion, PH- If you see a tall. lean, pleasant fellow around school, you will know him to be Barry Montgomery. Barry's a quiet guy who gets along with other people. Within Haverford, Barry's activities extend widely. He is a member of both the Current Events Club and the Auto Club. In the field of sports. he is a strong member of the golf team. I-Ie hits somewhere in the low eighties, and some day he may rival Ben Hogan. Barry was also outstanding on some of the pound teams during his earlier years Outside his beloved Alma Mater Barry is a social success There are fevs dances and parties that he misses Barry has been a student at Haverford for seven years and now he plans to enter Franklin and Marshall College No matter where he goes he is sure to make many friends Haverford wishes the best of luck to a terrific guy Latin Club III Current Events Club VI Auto Club VI Glee Club IV VI Football VI Track IV VI Current Events Club VI Auto Club VI Basketballj V IV V Golf H V VI Game Committee IV JAMES E MORRIS 8 Hilldale Rd Villanova Pa For the past nine months the boys who eat their lunch in the Big Room Cafe have been fortunate enough to have the atmosphere of pumpernickel and salamr furnished with appropriate jazz supplied by it has made jim known to all the boys in the school but it is by no means his only activity In autumn weather one can find him on the football field while spring weather will fund hrm running his laps around the track His interests go strll further and the Glee Club and Auto Club have been fortunate to have him as a member jim had been with Haverford for Eve years when he decided to try a year at Radnor but he found hrs way back to graduate with all his old friends When next fall rolls around like all other freshmen jim will start his run on college life and his 57 fortune foresees that in twenty years the world will still End him Hddling with the keys-either to his cash hlled safe deposit box or on the stage at Carnegie Hall But wherever he goes hes bound to strike the note which will make him a success 25 , . , . . , , , . , . , jim Morris. Ever since his second grade year, Gene Meyle has been very busy in all the school activities and in so doing has acquired a multitude of friends. His friendly smile and compatible personality have been the principal causes of his success. This year Gene took a great interest in the different activities around school. He lends his voice to the baritone section of Mr. Law's glee team, plays in the school band and is one of the best actors the dramatic club has seen in previous years. He is probably one of the most versatile members of his class.
