As Principal, Mr. Walker has the responsibil- ity of supervision over all teachers and other employees of the school. He is responsible, too, for the continuance of good public relations through frequent contacts with parents and community groups. His main concern, however, is his students. By the employment of more effective teaching methods in the classroom and by continual improvement of the extra- curricular program, Mr. Walker feels that a student has every opportunity to mature both academically and socially while at Haverford. Glad to be back at school after a short leave of absence at the beginning of the school year, Mr. Walker affirms that his job as principal is very satisfying and challenging. Mr. Stinson's vital character was more evi- dent this year with the absence of Mr. Walker.
