HAVERFORD-ERICA SCHULE ANTJE KROHN Jungfrauenthal 16 Hamburg 13, Germany Antje Krohn is Haverford’s exchange student this year. Being an outstand- ing pupil, she was chosen to represent her school as a good will ambassador to America. Born in Berlin, Germany, November 1, 1941, to Hans and Gerda Krohn, Antje remained there with her parents during World War II. In 1950 with her mother, Antje moved to Hamburg, Germany. There, Antje attended Erica Schule, Haverford’s affiliated school. During her travels in the past few years she has visited England, Belgium, Holland, Austria, and Switzerland. To these countries she can now add the United States At first Antje found things quite strange. Such big, cold looking build- ings! But now she has found that she, too, belongs. For the future she must decide between working as a hospital technician or an airline hostess. Whatever she decides, Haverford wishes her much success! 24
