I sl' 'Xpg iiff fn 1. x 1 S, I V ' -. The Senior Class of Haverford Township Senior High School presents to the students the 1953 edition of the GREYsToNEs. The aim of this yearbook is to portray the dayftof dayflife of the high school as it appears to the average student in order to serve as a pleasant ref minder of the days spent here at Haverford. In previous years, the CIREYSTONES was planned according to a certain themeg but this year there was a general feeling among the editors that such a theme was unnecessary. Therefore the GREYSTONES has been divided into six sections: the Dedication to Mr. and Mrs. Cscar Granger, the Administration, the Senior Class, the Activities, the Athletics, and the Underclassmen. The GREYSTONES, which is under the supervision of Mr. Robert Livingston, is edited under the Four Intrnductinn direction of the senior cofeditors. The rest of the editorial staff is composed of the chairmen of the editorial, the literary, the typing, the business, the art, and the photography committees. It takes com' plete cooperation and team work on the part of all these committees to produce a wellforganized year' hook. The entire staff of the 1953 GREYSTONES would like to take this opportunity to express its ap' preciation to Mr. Robert Livingston for making this yearbook possible, to Mr. Maurice Chuse for super' vising the artistic arrangements, to Mr. Arthur Walter for correction of our grammatical errors, to Mr. Gerald Harter for making the yearbook so interesting with his photography, and to Mr. Harry Dolan for directing the financial success of the GREYSTONES.
