Allison Under the competent direction of Mr. Allison the Or- chestra has had a varied and successful program this year. Together with the Band and the A Cappella Choir it partici- pated in the annual Senior High School Music Night con- cert. In May it visited Radnor High School to take part in the Youth Concert of the Tri-County Concerts Association. The Orchestra also supplied incidental music for the senior plays and the January graduation exercises. On March 24th it combined with the Lansdowne High School Orchestra to present a satisfactory assembly program.—J. H. Sixty-six Seated: E. Spicer The singing of several selections at the June com- mencement marked the successful conclusion of the activi- ties of the A Cappella Choir for the school year. The Choir, under the able leadership of Miss Spicer, reached new heights in school and community entertainment. Presenta- tions at a local church, Parent-Teachers Association meet- ing, and in school assemblies were some of the public ap- pearances of the Choir. At the joint concert of the combined Haverford and Collingdale Orchestras, the Choir sang sev- eral selections in which it exhibited its unusual talent. One of the achievements of the choir was its entrance in the Cultural Olympics held at the University of Pennsylvania. Sixtu-seveyi Seated: Hess, Moon, Robinson, Cordes, Hemphill.
