Success will come only after you have allowed yourself to think what you want, kept that thought uppermost in your mind, and worked diligently and consistantly toward your goal. Therefore it is imperative that you found your habits and ideals on Christian principles ifyou are to serve humanity in your highest capacity. DISTRICT PRINCIPAL ARTHUR W. We are well satisfield with the role our class has played in our school this year. We also feel that the next class or any other class of Sophomores will have to work hard to equal the strides in attitudes, behaviors, and just plain fun that we have experienced this year. Fateful, maybeg but inevitable. On the first day of school, August 28, 1958, the bell seemed to ring so boldly - not that we were scared. The first month seemed strange, getting used to the routine, and bells. Then, all of a sudden things began to fall in place and we find ourselves looking forward to each and everyday. We are now striving to better ourselves and Havelock High by supporting our newly formed Student Council, following the school's rules and regulations, helping our teach- ers, and oh, so many other things. We hope that our next three years in high school will be as eventful and memorable as our freshmen year has been.
