Reserves Experience Hot and Cold Nights Although the Reserve Team was blessed with inexperience, they finished the season with a 9-1 1 record. They won seven out of their first ten games and astounded the Hauser supporters with their teamwork. Finishing as the runner-up team in the holiday tourney proved to be the high point of the reserve season. The team leaders were Greg Gruhl; leading in rebounds, 190, field goal percen- tage, 49%, field goals, 95, total points, 262, and points per game average, 13.8. Mike Henderson led the team in free throw percen- tage, throwing in a torrid 72%. The 1972 version of the Hauser Reserve Team shows great promise for the future.
