No longer can we escape by refusing to face the world; it is impossible to remain in dreams or mope in ivory towers. We dare not be indifferent. Awake to reality, we must answer the summons with the voice of life and the challenge of truth. Mankind has dreamed of goodness and justice, of peace and the pursuit of happiness. It is for us to make that dream come true. Louis Untermeyer
