Joyce and Lisa seem to be quite happy for this special occasion The mothers of the Junior class and some Sophomore boys helped serve refreshments to the prom guests. It looks like Denzil has something up his sleeve. Jim and Shirley look bright eyed, but it must be past Cindy’s bedtime. 67

Junior-Senior Prom One of the many highlights of the prom was the crowning of the queen. Cheryl Dewig was elected the queen. Four other senior girls were in the competition. They were Joyce Ziliak, Lisa Sheridan. Jenny Maier, and Becky Kern. Queen Cheryl was escorted by Alan Hoefling. Many couples dance to the music furnished by Bob Minnette and the Melotones.
