The entire project was completed by January 1 of this year and has proven in use to be practical and well planned. The residents of 'this district can be proud of the results of their efforts and support, which have pro- vided better educational facilities and made possible the expansion and enrichment of the curriculum. The new addition contains eight elementary classrooms, science laboratory and lecture room, home economics department, gymnasium-auditorium, dressing and storage rooms, music and physical education offices, and an administrative section with two offices and a walk in vault. Remodeling in the old plant provided for a kitchen, cafeteria-multi-purpose room, library, industrial arts and commerce departments, and principal's office. The entire school plant is equipped with an intercom system. The school has an enrollment of 380 students, 263 of them in grades 1 through 8 and 117 in grades 9 through 12. Fully accredited by the State Department of Public Instruc - tion, the school in its faculty and curriculum also meet the requirements of the North Central Association. The dedication and open house for the new addition was held Sunday, May 19, 1963. Mr. Irving L. Iverson, Executive Secretary, N. Dak.
