Three girls will not be with us next year as Madeline Elsenbarger moved to Mt. Moriah and Gladys Groom and Bonnie James are seniors,

T l-D The Hatfield High School basketball team played 21 games dur- ing the season of 1946-47. One of the high-spots of the season was the Harrison County Basketball Tournament held at Ridgeway. Hatfield won third place in this tournament by downing Bethany in the first round 28 to 26. In the finals Hatfield nosed out Cains- ville by two points to receive third place. Other tournaments entered by the Pirates were the Albany Tournament, Grant City Tour- nament, Bethany Tournament, Eagleville Tournament, and the Sub- Regional. Of the eleven boys on the first and second teams, seven will graduate with the class of 1946-47. The games played during the season are as follows: Team New Hampton Cainsville Mt.
