The tour included first a nine months stay in Freshman Land. None in the tour had ever visited this land before but had reports of its green fields from other travelers who had once voyaged there. As a punishment for coming into this land the inhabitants of Sophomore Island forced us to wear our ances- tors clothing and onion necklaces for one day. At the end-of the nine months stay, passports were issued to enable us to leave for Sophomore Island. The conductor of this trip was Miss Heaston. Our band of stu- dents landed at the island filled with enthusiasm. To be sociable, Sophomore Island invited the inhabitants of Freshman Land to a party given in their honor. Our next tour was to Junior Continent. This continent was full of happiness and pleasure along with serious thoughts. Everyone tried his acting ability to earn money so that they might honor the students of Senior Haven. The Juniors and Seniors took an additional trip to enlarge their knowledge of the wonders and treasures of this country as well as for pleasure. The next September our group embarked upon the last year of its tour in the good ship Hatfield High. During this trip many storms tried the courage and determination of the crew. At one time during this trip in Senior Haven everyone once again tried his acting ability to entertain the public. All too soon the year passed. During this four year voyage several of the members decided to transfer to another High School ship to finish their voyage. At the end of the voyage we had only a crew of nine. The conductor told us that we must now embark on the sea of life choosing our own ship which we must sail for ourselves. We were left tearfully on the shore watching the ship Hatfield High, fade away in the distance, with only our memories and our diploma to recall the glad days aboard the Hatfield High School ship. CLASS WILL We, the Seniors of the Hatfield High School, realizing that we are soon to pass through the portals into the land,of Tomorrow, and desiring to leave behind us some tokens as well as admonitions, do hereby make this our last will and testament, be- lieving it to be the best last will and testament ever yet devised by any Senior Class. We leave and bequeath unto the faculty our we know that they will need it for it is a hard the Hatfield High School. Believing that we are the smartest and the the high school, we leave our picture to remind their illustrious forebears. To the worthy superintendent of the school English teacher has attempted to pass on to us. great intelligence. From experience task to instruct the student body of best looking.seniors ever to inhabit other classes who come after us of we leave all the good thoughts that our We, full of great ambitions, have no room in our already too full heads for these thoughts. This bequest is made to the superintendent of the school with the kindest of consideration and after much delibera- tion. He can use them for talks in faculty meetings. If we had any unusual grades, and if we did, we wouldn't know why we deserved them, we would will them to the whole student body, share and share alike, well knowing that there wouldn't be enough to quarrel about. All the dance steps that we have taken, we school. From all the remarks we have heard the leave behind to the boys of the high girls make about how the boys dance, we are sure that the boys will be able to use them. Our books we will to the studius. It is said that a bookworm likes nothing better than books. We hope they eat the backs and covers off of all the textbooks. Now what can we leave to the Juniors? They won't need anything. They have their nerve. If there is anything which can equal the nerve of those Juniors, we have failed to meet up with lt. ' To Miss Madison, our English teacher, we return unanswered the many difficult ques- tions which she has nropounded to us in the year that has passed. He believe that these same questions can be used over and over until they are worn to shreds, for sure- ly they will never be answered. If we couldn't answer them, who can? The happy experiences which have been ours, we now pass on to others, retaining only our memories which we take with us as we go from high school.
