THE HAT Page Eight In Appreciation E, THE students of the Hatboro High School, wish to egcpress in this, the year. book, our appreciation of the work which ounprincipal, Mr. Richard A. Shields, has done for us, the school, and the community. In the seven years that Mr. Shields has been in Hatboro he has brought about a complete reorganiza- tion in the public schools of Hatboro. He has taken charge of the changing of the curricula from the eight-four to the six-six plan for public schools 5 and H, H. S. is now recognized by the state as a six-year high school, class I. About a year ago we entered the new school build- ing, and several new departments of the school have been added. Clubs have been organized and a fine social spirit prevails. Yve trust that wherever he may go, and whatever may be his task in the future he will remember with pleasure the seven years he has given to the young people of Hatboro.
