After two months' of vacation our class returned to Hatboro High School to float our Blue and White on high, and how glad we were that we could no longer be called those Babbling Freshiesul ' During this second year our class entered heartily into all athletic and social events of the year. We were especially proud of Charlotte Kunz and Elizabeth Eddowes who were on the Girls' Varsity Basketball Team. Herbert Weikel who, besides playing onthe Boys' Varsity Team, was our class president. In March we were disappointed to know that Herbert had left school. We had always appreciated his leadership and sportsmanship. Fred Baehr, our vice-president, was elected to fill this vacancy. On March 19, the school decided to give a social in honor of the Boys' and Girls' Basketball Teams. Our class had charge of the decorating, and the com- mittee, with the aid of the other class members, showed real ability along this line. We were intensely interested in the school loan because we realized and resolved that in this new building we would make our last two years the happiest and most successful of our high-school career. On September fifth of 'twenty-four On the sea of education We sailed for that well-known port, That one called graduation. We haven't reached the port as yet 5 But, with the hope of fate, Will anchor there our rugged ship In the year of 'twenty-eight. -HELEN MASON. ..,gI 25 Ig..

i second best. Willard Dickerson, our class treasurer, won at the same event, the prize for being the funniest dressed person. At the demonstration held to promote interest in a new high school our class paraded and displayed not only their school spirit, but also their colors. Our class had charge of the entertainment for the St. Patrick's Party. Much credit is due to Enola Fox, who was chairman of the committee. We have a class baseball team made up entirely of members of our class. The team played some games with the eighth grade last fall, and expects to have more games with them this spring. In competitive spirit we have been Freshmen, but not dead. ' Houk, Carrell and Brandreth practiced basketball during the past season 3 while Edith Ritter, Gladys Tomlinson, Enola Fox, Betty Biggerstaff, and Barbara Sidle were fortu- nate enough to be chosen for the Girls' Glee Club. -WILLIAM CARRELL. ' Wiz FREsH1Es We are the Freshies of H. H. S. We're scolded all the time. The Seniors give us the deuce at lunch, The Sophs yell, Get in line.
