Time Runs Out on Gridders While the seconds slowly ran out of each game the Raiders football team always seemed to come up on the short end of their first three games played. Coach Terry Hartman said after Hastings lost its opener to Stillwater, I don't know if they ever rebounded from that game. Statistically the Raiders al- ways outplayed their opponents but stats don't show up on the scoreboard. As the season went on the Raiders improved their style but unfortunately they were too late to gain a playoff spot.
