The Student Council is a representa- tive government of the school. It con- sists of one student from each advisory group, and the class presidents. Its func- tion is to promote better understanding between the students and the faculty. By holding an annual open meeting the student council presents to the student body a picture of student government at work. This year for the first time the student council sponsored an all- school carnival from which it gained funds to enlarge the Garth Underwood scholarship.
