Semor Class Hzstory On the day of September 3 194 8, ten green little Freshies tripped gaily up the hill. They were Bill Bailey Milfred Benmcosa Betty Fern Dunbar Darrell Hall Bill Haroff Shirley Johnson Billy Noble, Carolyn Ord Joyce Shapcott and Betty Weak Billy Noble left the second day of school All too soon we found that initiation was upon us We came in couples taken from the comic strips In October, Wanda O Dell joined us and in December the Freshman Class spon- sored a Christmas party In February we lost Bill Bailey, but in March Jo anne Waterworth joined us. Our subjects were English 9 General Business, General Science and Algebra There were nine lucky people who returned for their Sophomore year on August 29, 1949 They were Mxlfred Betty Fern Darrell Bill, Joyce Shirley, Carolyn Jo-anne and Betty Our subjects were' English 10, World History Geometry and Commercial Law This year there were only eight students that came eagerly tripping up the steps anticipating their Junior year Mildred had left to go to Glenwood ln the first six weeks Shirley left the Jolly Juniors to get married Our subjects this year are American History English Literature Bookkeeping Typing and Chemistry We received our class rings on December 18th and plan to have our Junior and Senior Banquet on April 13 1951 At long last we have reached our Senior year This year included only five little rr1embe1'S They are Jo anne Darrell Joyce Betty Fern and B111 Our subjects were Biology American Literature Economics Sociology and Govern ment In the early part of September we enjoyed two days freedom in getting ads for the annual This finally concludes the high school chapter in our lives The individuals will now go their separate ways to make a future history C -4' O O I 9 . Senior Class Poems Darrell Hall In economics class he likes to sleep, He parks his feet and doesn't make a peep. Sometimes l'd like to get a bucket of water And see how much Darrell can holler. Joyc e Shape ott .Toyce is a lady milk She never does a thing that's wild, She passes all her grades on high, And smiles at the boys she passes by.
