HASSAYAMPA did not see the whole world but we saw our share. This cruise book tells the story of our adventures throughout the Pacific and Indian Ocean. As shipmates we worked hard and played hard. The exploits may grow a little over the years. Actually they are super stories without polishing them. Each of you responded everyday in everyway to make it a memorable deployment. Each of you is a winner and each of you should be proud today and in the future of your service to his country. Since the birth of this nation men of ships have been responsible for the greatness of this nation. The men of HASSAYAMPA have increased that greatness. Well done shipmates.
