School ' Scuxrd The Board of Education extends its best wishes to the Class of 1962. As you travel down life ' s highways carrying your bit of Haslett with you, pick your code or your philosophy; and if you have trouble, you could do worse than pick this one by Henry Van Dyke entitled: FOUR THINGS Four things a man must learn to do If he would make his record true: To think without confusion clearly; To love his fellow-men sincerely; To act from honest motives purely; To trust in God and Heaven securely. Sujlt tutte tde(ttd T Ccddaae To the Class of 1962: Congratulations to all of you on Graduation Day. Through 13 years of persistent effort, with many ups and downs, successes and failures, griefs and joys, you have finally achieved the goal that many boys and girls do not reach. You are fortunate in that you live in a community, state and country which holds high the ideals of education. This is borne out especially in your community where a great deal of money, time and effort has been spent to provide you with the necessary facilities with which to obtain your training. Education, however, never should reach the end of the line for we are confronted daily with new problems to solve. Wherever you go and whatsoever you do, consider the need to continue your training in order that your life may be full of joy, happiness, and success. Best wishes to each one of you in the class of 1962. May the one who watches over all of us guide, protect, and help you in your every worth-while venture. Sincerely, F. J. Jappinga Superintendent
