McKenzie, E. Fisher J. Tegges. Cheaper by the Dozen was the play chosen by the Seniors as their annual class play. As the cast looks back upon rehearsals, they have pleasant memories. The Seniors had two weeks of evening practice in which to prepare the three act comedy. With Mrs. Bernice Smith as director and capable people in leading parts, the play slowly took shape. The Haslett High School Senior Band has participated in football games, parades, concerts and festivals during the 1959-1960 season. The Band, under the direction of Mr. Fader, received a First Divi¬ sion at the District Classification and traveled to Mount Pleasant to the State Meet. Here it competed with fifteen Class C bands to ob¬ tain a Second Division. Each member of the band received a first place and a second place medal for the band’s two performances. The Band spon¬ sored their annual candy sale and are planning to buy several new instruments for the coming year. to
