We, the Seniors of 1960, would li ke to acknowledge Mrs. Bernice Smith for her outstanding service as a teacher, play director, and Dixit staff advisor. It was through her efforts that our education, our plays, and (we hope) our yearbook attained success. For these reasons we acknowledge Mrs. Smith.

MESSAGE FROM THE SCHOOL BOARD The Haslett Board of Education congratulates the 1960 graduating class of Haslett High School. You are a select group because of your own efforts and the opportunities provided for you through the efforts of the citizens of this community and the other citizens of the State of Michigan. Whether you relish the idea or not, you are now full-fledged adult citizens. As such, you must begin to assume your share of responsibilities in an adult world. Whether you go to college or go to work in some other field of endeavor, you are better prepared to meet life than if you had failed to graduate from high school. It is our hope that you will do well in whatever you choose to do. We also hope that we shall al¬ ways be able to claim you as a graduate of Haslett High School with pride in our hearts.
