Mrs. Mary Lippert CO- DEDICATION Mr. Noward has driven students to Hask- ins High School for 22 years He has achieved quite a statistical record throughout these many years. Mr. Noward drives 40 miles a day, and a total of about 9,000 miles a year. Every school day he brings 88 students to school and to their homes. While on his trips he makes an average of |00 stops per day. Besides his regular jaunts each day, he has driven 350 extra trips for band, basketball games and other miscellaneous trips. During his 22 years as bus driver, Mr. Noward has had 3 buses. Mr. Noward was born in Waterville, O- hio. Shortly after his marriage to Mrs. Now- ard they moved to the Haskins vicinity, where they have lived for 25 years. They have three sons and one daughter, who have all gradu- ated from Haskins High School. Both Mr. Noward and his wife are active in the community affairs; the Grange, Wood County Farm Bureau, and the Federated Church. His hobby, as you might guess, Is ‘driving the school bus.” His sunny smile and cheerful good morn- ing and good evening each day has made him one of our favorite friends during the 12 years that we have known him. Mrs. Lippert started us on the road of ed- ucation, when we were only 6 years old. She left with us some ideals that have continued with us all through the remaining years. She just never seems to run out of ideas and big smiles. Making the fingerprints of her first graders is an annual tradition that all the par- ents look forward to. She received a life certificate from Bowl- ing Green Normal School. Her marvelous teaching record consists of 3 years at Dowl- ing, where she had grades 1, 2, 3, and 4, then she came to Haskins for 3 years teaching the first and second. After this, Mrs. Lippert taught at Lime City for 2 1 2 years---then back to Haskins for 11 years. She jokingly commented she came back to the same room to teach the children of the students she had taught pre- viously. Her personal life has been just as busy as her professional life. She is married and the mother of two children, Donna Mae and Artie She was past matron of the Eastern Stars and also past officer of the Shrine. She now lives near Perrysburg. Her only comment on teaching was the emphatic statement, ‘‘I just love it!’’ Mr. Lloyd Noward
