At the beginning of the eighth grade we found we had Mr. Van Atta for our sponsor. As the curtain fell on the second act it was found that none of the actors but Bob Boso had left us. As the curtain went up for Act III, everyone was very nervous. This was the big step into high school. This year, four actors ioined the cast. They were Carol Fretter, Jean Patterson, Mary Whitmore, and George Nicholson. We were allowed four parties this year under the direction of Mrs. Hof. The Sophomores initiated us into high school. Chuck Shufelt, Tom Morlock, and George Nicholson left us. As the tenth grade rolled around we found that we were missing four: Jean Patterson moved to Waterville, Mary Whitmore to Maumee, Sandra Binger to California. During the year Tom Stewart was killed in a baseball accident. When time came for us to begin the eleventh grade, two more actors were missing: Sandra Myers and Eugene Brown. This year we gave the play Hillbilly Weddin' under Mrs. McClelland, who was our sponsor. Sandra Binger ioined us on the first of May. We gave a dance and sponsored the Junior and Senior Banquet at the Toledo Women's Club on May l. When our last year rolled around, the cast was almost as nervous as they were when they were freshmen. This year we found Evon Myers, Kevin Enright, and Shirley Smith gone. We gave the play The Dafy Dills under the direction of our sponsor, Mr. Griffith. We gave dances, an ice cream social, bake sales, and suppers to earn money for our trip. The Juniors hon- ored us with a banquet. As the last curtain falls, some find they are very sorry to be leaving, The cast is now composed of: Jean Weihl, President, Carol Fretter. V. Pres- ident, Sandra Binger, Treasurer, Joanne Eckel, Secretary, Bill Garrett, Repor- ter, Mary Bobel, Jean Ovitt, Joyce Grolle, Bob Bringman, Alice Snyder, and Bill Fox. We would like to thank everyone who helped make it possible for us to complete these twelve years of our education. . ' . QT- . , 2' T V fll' Va? .. VA'

do as his specialty. His signature is seen in the hair. Who should come in during my manicure but Jean Weihl and her escort, Bill Fox. She said she has made millions on her waterproof match. She said she has had three husbands a year in the past thirty years. Bill Fox said he is now known as the best dressed actor in the universe and is the greatest interplanterian lover. I have spent a very interesting day in dear old Haskins and am now on my Way home to Mars. CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1952, the curtain opened with sixteen members in the cast. Our director, for this first exciting year of school, was Miss Doris Oben- our, Those composing the cast were Sandra Binger, Sandra Myers, Evon Myers, Eugene Brown, Freddie Peterson, Mary Bobel, Jean Weihl, Charles Konrad, Mary Vykopal, Bill Garrett, Jean Ovitt, Bill Fox, Alice Snyder, Art Michaelis, Joanne Eckel, and Herbert Peters. When the second year of school began, Mrs. Shepard, the former Miss Obenour, was again our director. Bob Bringman and Loran Shunk joined us this year, and we lost Herbert Peters,Freddie Peterson, and Charles Konrad. Our third year of school was about the same as the second year but with Miss Asmus as the new director. No actors Were lost but we had gained Barbara Ballard. The fourth year, Miss Asmus was again behind the desk. We found that Robert Debbe was with us. Mrs. Bengston was found directing us for the fifth year. Robert Debbe moved to Neapolis where he will graduate this year, and Loran Shunk, Bar- bara Ballard, and Mary Vykopal moved to Toledo while Joyce Grolle had ioined the cast. In the sixth grade, with Mrs. Bengston still directing, we found We had lost Art Michaels, who moved to Tontogany, where he will graduate this year, but had gained Tom Stewart, Marilyn Mettert, and Lola Graam. As thelcurtain fell, everyone was happy and nervous for the trip which would take us upstairs into Junior High. When the curtain rose for Act ll, it was found that two members had left us while four others had ioined the cast. They Were: Lola Graham and Marilyn Mettert, who left, and Kevin Enright, Charles Shufelt, Tom Morlock, and Bob Boso, who joined. During the year Shirley Smith ioined us.
