Basketball Banquet The annual basketball banquet was held on March 21, 1950 at the school. The dinner was prepared by the Senior mothers. The address of the evening was given by Sam Cooper of Bowling Green State University. Following the address our coach, Mr. Van Atta presented the awards. The team, coach, managers, time keepers, cheerleaders, and faculty was guests at this banquet. The public was invited. Following the banquet the picture ‘‘Road Show’’ was shown. Some of the actors and actresses were Brian Donlevy, Broderick Crawford, Andre Devine, Maria Montez. The picture was about three fishermen who were shipwrecked on an island where pearls were plentiful. The picture was enjoyed by all.
