Oe A NAAR Hr Nas a! ee ea ene See een mere Aer. sn ener cee. yeni ene JUNIOR-SENIOR PaNQUET .s The annual Juiior-Senior Banquet was haid on Firday, liay 2, 1947, in the Tower Room of the Hillcrest Hotel in Toledo, ‘his was the evening everyone had looked forward too because this was ovr most important formal affair and also the first Junior-Senior get-together this - vr 149, Everyone had a simply marvelous time. So mch for the t.- When we arrived at the Hillcrest Hotel we found the dining room very pretty and the tables were beautiful for they had lovely boquets of yellow daffidols and Forsythia, Next came the dinner. It was served by the waite resses at exactly 6:30 p.m. It was delicious too, The menu was a follows; Fruit Cup, Roast “tuffed Chicken Whipped Potatoes and Gravy, Fresh Green Peas, Assorted “Relishes, iwilk, Ice Cream and Cake, ie all enjoyed the recorded music while we ate, When evervene had finisned, Dennis Sergent, Pres- ident of the Junior Class, ag Todstmaster, started the program by telling how delicious the cCimner had béen, after a few corny jokes by the tcastmaster, Bob Eckel, welcomed the Seniors and the “acuity. The response was given by Jack ityder, President of the Senior Class, Well not it was the bors turn to do some performing, We had a song, and just guess by whom? Yes, Dennis and Same they sang Down by the Old Mill Stream! Next, was the time all the Juniors had been waiting for. they just corldn't wait to find ot what we Seniors left them. ‘So, Yrayce Phillips read the Class Will. We tried to distribute our possessions evenly and we hope we didn't miss anyone, i 2 Wes “he Seniors had a food laugh over the Vill, so now it was the Juniors turn and Shirley really read our ped- igree, Gee, won't it be funny to fo into Tiedtkies and find all the Seniors working there, The rest of the evening was spent in-dancing to ree- ords and everyone had a swell time, ; Seriously now, ‘The Senior Class wishes to thank the — Junior Class for the wonderful evening. +t was oneof the brightest spots of our High School ays, and one we will always remember.
