PICTURES CREATE MEMORIES Veterans Day In observance of Veterans Day, Haskell Students and staff members were present at an assembly to pay tribute to those men and women who assumed the duties of defending our country and democracy during various wars. The placing of the wreath in front of the statue in the auditorium was done by the members of the Indian Club and the Military Color Guard as a tradition in marking our recognitiontof that solemn and memorable date. Christmas The Annual, Nativity 'was presented December I7, I967, in the auditorium. Many talented students helped depict the story of the birth of Christ through singing of christmas songs and the reading of scripture. Thanksgiving The Thanksgiving Day' program presented by Haskell students started the holiday activities on No- vember 22, I967. The Haskell Parade was held on Thanksgiving morning, and a delicious dinner was heartily enioyed by the students. The Powder Puff foot- ball game highlighted the afternoon and Thanksgiving Day ended with an all school dance that night.
