Do you recognize this pleasant looking group? For the past year they have had their hands full trying to mould the plastics that are ourselves. We have been so formless at times, we wonder that they could shape us at all. Our indifference to education might easily have made them think they were nursing sleeping sickness victims. It has taken patience and ability to guide us successfully through our high school career, but our faculty possesses these qualities to a high degree. They have been not only teachers but also friends -- friends who have left their indelible marks on our characters. In the years to come, after this book and the memories it holds may have been forgotten, they will still be remembered. We are grateful for the privilege of being associated with auch unselfish, highly-trained members of the teaching profession. Lucky! That's what we've been, just plain lucky! For our four years in H.R.H.S. we've had the opportunity of obtaining an education in one of the nicest looking buildings in the state. Much of this is due to the efforts of Ralph nMiken Chatham, custodian. Through much hard work and tireless effort, nMiken has succeeded in keeping our building in excellent condition. M1ke 1s extremely well-liked by .. the student body, and is always available when y I anyone needs a helping hand. X r. Q!

Eecfica tion Every so often a school system such as ours is blest with someone exceptionally talented and energetic. Just such a blessing descended upon us last year in the form of Mrs. Marcellne Zabel, our present home-economics teacher. We feel very privlledged to be dedicating this annual to such a tireless and ambitious worker. The student body is truly indebted to her for many accomplishments. The success of our popular school lunch program is due to the ceaseless efforts and supervision of Mrs. Zabel It is she who plans those delicious, well-balanced,nour1sh1ng menus so enjoyed by all. She is cheerfully donating hours of work to this program, and receiving for it only the satisfaction of knowing it is a worth imile job being well done. Many of the new, unusual ideas for refreshments, games, programs, decorations and parties can be traced to Hrlszgbglp Filled with ingenious ideas, she is always willing to help in some way to execute her novel plans no matter how busy she actually may be. Proof of her abilities as a home-economics teacher can be obtained by sampling some of her classes handiwork or merely by sniffing the delicious aromas floating around the halls during the cooking period. From all reports she does an excellent job as an Algebra instructor, not to mention her orderly study halls. Always maintaining an extremely cheerful attitude and never tiring from the strenuous demands placed upon her, Mrs. zgbdl is exceedingly popular and highly respected by the student body. We have never ceased to admire her knowledge and-talents in so many varied fields, so to her, we Seniors respectfully dedicate this annual as a small token 'of our appreciation for all of her good works here in H.R.H.S. 3' 'e L+ -0 12- Q 'Qi 5 fl? s ,.'-- ,
