Mr. Kirton spoke at the Junior-Senior Banquet. DEDICATION We dedicate this annual to the alumni of Harvey High School. These men and women have become valuable citizens and assets to their communities and country. We have among our alumni many outstanding leaders in their fields. They are men such as Patrick Haggerty, who is chief executive officer of Texas Instruments, one of the nation's leading manufactures of electronic devices, and La Von West, a photographer in the United States, professionally known as Ivan Dmitri. In our community, we have many alumnij but, to go on, the pages of this annual would be filled with nothing but names of outstanding Harvey High Alumni. By using these men and women as beacons, and attempting to follow their footsteps, we too, will become valuable citizens. The names of the business places that helped sponsor the Hornet are listed at the bottom of the pages. I As we follow the light of knowledge, we become more aware of the need for a well-rounded educa- tion.
