Education is the basis of the future, the bas- is of life. Better schools, better facilities means bett- er education, such is the gift to Harvey High. The gift of willingness, generosity, and sacrifice that was given to we students through the new addition. To you people who made this contribution to education to you who have furthured your children's welfare, to you whose kindness has provided new and better educational fac ilities, to you we dedicate this 1962 annual. Above you see pictures of the new addition in the process of build- ing. Each day the workers laid brick after brick, molding our ed- ucational facilities to exert the sturdiest foundation for our future. Behind the scenes of the Harvey High School are the men who make our new and old addition clean, sanitary, and proper to study in. These men are nonetheless contri- buting thier part to education.
