Director Lies was quite satisfied with the results and the progress of the group. The chorus made appearances with the band at concerts and graduation. They also sang at Baccalaureate. The Girls Trio sang for Homecoming and Creamery Day. One soloist went to the contest at Minot. Starting In the fall were the usual playing for football games, Homecoming, and a combination of classical and pop concerts. With the winter came providing more entertainment at sports events and a very well played classical concert and a trip to Bismarck to play for the Governor and the Legislature. In the spring were the contests and we received six ones' out of eighteen soloists. All the members of the Band had to play a solo or in an ensemble for a recital. The Band, as a whole, also performed very commendably at the State contest. It finished off the year with a spring concert on Mother's Day. ■nil page la aponaored by ERICKSON HELLICKSON VYE CO OZ 03 BAND SOLOS AND ENSEMBLE Pat Graumpaa Sharon Martell Jon Schmidt Pete Boyum Adair Fallon Wendy Bentz Carolyn Paulson Fred Bischke Mary Harr Judy Fraser Jim Barstad Lance Egeland Pat Akers Karen Faul 1st Row-Left to Right- J.
