They have given us friendly co-operation and have been willing to buy ads which has raised the needed funds for our Yearbook. This is one of the big jobs for the librarians and it is their duty to see that the books and lined up correctly and neafy. Mew orders for books are being made by Carol, Jeri, and Virginia. 'Tie library orders new books each year and then it's up to the librarians to card and file them in their correct place. Curtis, Ardelle, and Rhoda survey the dis- play they've just finished. The librarians take turns every two weeks in putting up a new display. Esther, Aloys, Kristi, Janet, and Carol, together with Miss Schaap, the advisor, are looking a little sleepy, but they're all there at 8:15, the time when every Wednesday the librarians have a weekly meeting. The meetings must be attended in order to receive a credit for being librarian. Here is where they learn all about the library. Hunting out magazines for the students is a big Job for every librarian. Here it's being done by Carole, Ivy, and Donna. Esther, Gerald, and JoAnn help students to find books according to the card catalogue, which lists all the books contained in the library. A group of our librarians proudly display their fairboard. This fairboard received first place at the fair last year. All this work is done under the super- vision of our advisor, Miss Anne Haugaard. A blazing bonfire started the homecoming festivities for the students of Harvey High, on the evening of Sept. 20. The enthusiastic student body met at the Y for a Pep felly. Dawning bright and clear, the morning of homecoming was filled with excitement and hurried last minute prepara- tions. Much scrambling and rearranging had to be done before the beautiful line of colored floats was displayed before the crowd waiting on the streets. The band, which headed the parade, began marching to the beat of the drums when at 2s30 the majorette blew her whistle, announcing that the procession was on its way. In the evening a happy and exuberant crowd trooped off the football field, with a victory 6-0 over Fessenden. The students and faculty enjoyed dancing to lively music in the study hall for the remainder of the evening.
