THE ANVIL H LXRX EX HIGH SLHOOL P XINESX ILLF OHIO 1954 7 Y 1 'N A ' L . 7 4 A 1, I 4,.uaW1f-Ummm Harvey High School can be compared to a gigantic clock, whose mechanism is composed of the students, faculty and administration. This clock, which is Harvey, could not be the smooth running instru- ment which it is without the coordination of everyone connected with it. The students working together provide the motive force similar to the main spring in a clock. These students working under the guidance of the faculty and the coordination of the administration learn to work together in preparation for activities which they will undertake after graduation. lt is this splendid cooperation that makes Harvey tick, and makes well rounded citizens of her graduates. -l-'N DED To you, Mr, Pollock, we the Senior Class ot 1954 dedicate our yearbook, the Anvil Besides serving as an instructor in the field of mathematics during your years at Harvey, you have stimulated student government by acting as sponsor of the student council We thank you tor your patience and un- derstanding, your willingness to make your subjects clear and your classes a pleasure. 4 5 1 ,,, 1 , 1 fn A 'Q -'I-. ff. f. , fly. ,,g, ., .-.,. Because of the high calibre of writing by the l-'lar-Binger Staff, the paper is an ac- claimed member of the National Scholastic Press Association. Besides the reporters, the l-lar-Binger has efficient advertising and circulation depart- ments. An exchange editor sends Har-Bingers to many other schools in exchange for their school papers. This is Miss Weigand's first year as sponsor and she is doing an excellent job.
