BAUMGARTNER Principal E faculty, of Harvey High school headed by Principal Allan L. Baum- gartner, has been chosen from a wide field of college graduates with most of them, however, receiving their education in Ohio colleges and universities. In years of ser- vice Miss Grace VVyman leads the list with a total of 26 at Harvey High and four years in other schools. Mr. Dale Smith with 22 years here, Miss Mildred Cumings with I9 and Mr. Emory B. Whitcomb with 16 years, are also regarded as outstanding veterans. Due to the unfortunate illness of one of the new teachers, Miss Martha Tilock, who teaches biology, it was necessary to engage substitutes to serve in her place during part of the year. The balance of the first semester was taken by Miss Mabel Lewis, a practice teacher from Lake Erie college, and part of the second semester classes were taught by Mrs. E. D. Jayne.

Mr. Hobbs, the president, is factory manager of the huge Diamond Al- kali Co. works at Fairport and a leader in Boy Scout and Y. M. C. A. promotion in this area. Mr. Harer, formerly general manager of the Light Alloys Co. here, is now associated with a large Cleveland con- cern in the same line of Work. He is ac- tive in the work of the Sea Scout organiza- tion. Dr. Greenwood is a leading veteri- narian and a member of the City Park Board. Dr. Chamberlin is a well known dentist and a former lieutenant-governor of the Kiwanis district.
