Trqface ,. HE Album of today is the result ofa gradual development of the book Hrst published in 18QO as The Harvard Portfolio. Eight years later the name was changed to the Harvard fClassj Album, and in IQO4. the Senior Photographic Committee assumed responsibility for the publication. At this time, too, a competitor, established in IQOI as The Harvard Class Book, was absorbed. Finally, in 1 ooo, The Harvard Class Album became the oHicial publication of the class, and since then the only changes have consisted in improvements in the book itself Now more than a thousand photographs are included to supplement the Written records. An innovation this year is the article by Mr. Eliot Wadsworth ,QS on The Future of the Classf, i The committee is deeply indebted to Mr. R. Gay ,IQ, to Mr. and Mrs. Bourdon and to Miss Curry of The Notman Studio, to the Crimrofz, to the Sugolk Engraving Company, and to the University Press, for their hearty co-operation in the publication of this book.
