Headmaster Thomas C. Hudnut One of the fondest and most fervent hopes a headmaster has when he comes to a new job is that the senior class will be helpful, supportive, and friendly. And one of the most pleasing realities of this year is that the Class of 1988 has been all that, and more. You members of the graduating class made this new headmaster feel welcome from the start; you have set a good example; you have had good leaders; you have given wise counsel; you have acted in plays and played on teams with gusto — while you have not always won championships, you have always displayed a champions attitude. To you I am grateful. And as you leave this school, I hope that you are grateful, too, for the opportunities and the challenges that you have been given. This place has been your home; your class- mates and friends and teachers have become your extended family. You will always be welcome at Harvard School and I look for- ward to seeing you back here often. For now, though, go in peace . . . Headmaster ' s Address •

Dedication Mr. B, Lee Drew has taught Dramatic Literature for ten years at Harvard. Starting his teaching ca- reer at 32, he has been involved in a number of Harvard events and activities, as well as worked pro- fessionally prior to, and after, com- ing to Harvard School. After grad- uatmg from Bowling Green State University and Wesleyan, he went to Canada where he starred in 288 episodes of the Lee Drew Chil- dren ' s Hour. Since then, he has acted in several music vidoes, soap operas, stage, and screen produc- tions, as well as directed a number of professinal endeavors. At Har- vard, outside of the 35+ produc- tions he has directed, he has also been the faculty sponsor of the Mo- torcycle and Raquetball Clubs. He has also been a guest director at the University of Las Vegas, as well as an American School in Switzerland, and has been a critic for the Hol- lywood Reporter International Graphic Art Competition. The appeal that Lee Drew has tor Harvard students is not only friendly mannerism and work de- meanor, but the smile and hand- shake with which he greets every student. He seems to be every stu- dent ' s friend while maintaining the respect and authoritativeness of a great teacher. For this, Mr. Drew, we dedicate this 1988 Harvard Sentinel to you. -Phil Rubin ( ' 88)
