You have probably noticed already that this year's annual differs drastically from last year's. ln fact, the entire format of the book has been changed. The editorial staff felt that since each year stands as a whole, the annual should also. Rather than being separated into arbitrary sec- tions of clubs, sports, etc., this year's book is divided into 4 seasons, and sports, clubs and classes are categorized accordingly. The theory behind the changes was an attempt to create the feeling of a totality, a completeness, rather than iust a series of unrelated pictures. In order to achieve this goal we purposely avoided the regimentality of past annuals. Each two page flat was designed to stand on its own, separate from the rest. Throughout the annual this pattern was followed: individuality with harmony. After looking through the annual we hope you will agree that it was a success. However, the true purpose of every annual is to serve as a record of what has passed, and how things were.
