LIFE BEGINS IN '49 We are ihe Senior Class of '49, For many years greaf fhings had been expec+ed of us. Led by Class Presiden+ Tom Slevenson and +hrough 'rhe work and cooperalion of +he whole class, we were able +o bring ourselves iogeiher and 'form a good class. We may never be remembered for our class as a whole, buf +here will cerfainly be a few in each of +he various ac+ivi+ies who will noi be forgo++en for years +o come. Bob Coons, Mal Douglas, Bill Dough+y, Rex MacAlpin, Bob Baker, Hank Sharman, Don Snowden, and Dave Toy have more 'rhan ably represenfed fheir class on +he Honor Socie+y. MacAlpin and Sharman have shown fhe school +ha'r we, foo, have our mili+ary geniuses. On +he field, Bauder, R. Daily, Schraeger, Siberf, Sharman, Sfadlinger, Geo. Sfevens, and T. Sfevenson fo name buf a few, have added greally fo Harvard spor+s. Thus, fhe end has come for us a+ Harvard. If is possible +ha+ we could have done belfer, buf we are nol ashamed of our record.
