HENRY JACOB STEINER Assistant Prokssor of Law A magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Mr. Steiner was clerk to Mr. Justice John M. Harlan of the U.S. Supreme Court for the 1957 term. He was in private practice for four years in New York City and he is a consultant to the Agency for International Development. Mr. Steiner was Developments Editor of the Harvard Law Review and was a Sheldon Traveling Fellow in 1955-1956. In his first year on the faculty, he is teaching the Law of International Transactions and Relations and Conflicts of Law. Born: 19303 Mt. Vernon, New York. B.A.,1951gM.A., LL.B., 1955, Harvard. ARTHUR E. SU THERLAND Bussey Prokssor of Law Aside from 1927-28, when he was legal secretary to Mr. justice Holmes, Professor Sutherland practiced law in Rochester, New York, from 1926 until 1941. He served in the U. S. Army from the latter year until 1945, receiving the Bronze Star and numerous citations. Before becoming Professor of Law at Harvard in 1950, he taught at Cornell. In 1956, Professor Sutherland held a Fulbright lectureship at Oxford. He edited Government Under Law, the published proceedings of the john Marshall Bicentennial at Harvard, of which he was chair- man, and his Rundell Lectures at Wisconsin in 1955 were published as The Law ana' One Man Among Many.
