The 136617191 Meyfage Students of the Harvard Business School: For young men who seek a challenge to their capabilities, business at the present time has an unique appeal. Regardless even of the form of government, our complicated economic organization cannot run itself without managers who possess ability, initiative, and an appre- ciation of changing developments. Moreover, there is a growing need for men who have a keen sensitiveness to the constantly changing relationship of their specialized problems to the general problems of society. With business in such a constant state of flux, an understanding of the general problems alone is a difficult task. Association at this School with men from various localities offers opportunities to develop this essential perspective, not only during the two years of study, but during the many years to follow graduation. In fact, acquaintances made here should substantially increase in influence and value as time goes on. This Year Book and the social aspects of our School life contribute very definitely in solidifying friendships, and I feel that every student can benefit by taking advantage of the possibilities that they offer. 4 V WALLACE B. DONHAM, , Dean. November 2, 1934.' '
