Text from Pages 1 - 64 of the 1957 volume:

dedication It was not easy to decide to whom this book would be dedicated. So many people helped us, encouraged us, and picked us up when we fell down. It was Mrs. Patterson who watched over us in our first year as an organized Junior High class. She has seen us grow through the years since those seventh grade days and has, we hope, felt a measure of satisfaction in knowing that the part she played in our growth has been a large one. To you, Mrs. Patterson, we dedicate the 1957 HUB, as an expression of our gratitude for all the things large and small, tangible and intangible, that you have done for us! Editor-in-Chief - - - Business Editor----- Picture Editor--------- Advertising Manager Art Editor------------- - - VICTOR BUNN - ROY NERSESIAN BETSY PATTERSON - JAMES McGRATH JANET MISTRETTA STAFF MEMBERS Darlene Gill, Patricia Folts, John Mott, Herbert Schweitzer, Amelia Lyon, Robert Briscoe, Charles Wart, Barbara Norman. Pnncipafs 'JKessape Graduation from high school is to each of you a singular success of great importance. The past years of anxiety and tranquillity, of study and recreation, coupled with the guidance and direction of your family, teachers and friends, have culminated in your high school diploma. To you I am sure it is the essence of success. To us who remain it is only the beginning. The degree of your success will give us satisfaction for past efforts and courage for the future. What you do from this point forward will be de- termined to a great degree by your own efforts, desire, determination and by how well you use the knowledge and code of conduct that your high school diploma symbolizes. As you go forth I have the utmost confidence that each will find his place in life and will do justice to it. Standing: Clifford Hull, Roscoe Conklin, Vice President; Webb Weaver, Martin Semrov.
