UixruoX Sitting-Left to Right - Patricia Raimo, John Henningsen, James Hurtubise, Mr. John Dennin, Advisor. Standing-left to right- Robert Smith, Jane Wart, Donald Brown, and Betty Jane Polulech The Junior Class this year has sponsored several activities for their senior trip of ’55. During the latter part of ’53 Christmas cards were sold and a bake sale was held. A pancake supper held in February also proved to be a success. Along with the other classes of our school we also contributed to the new electric scoreboard that was recently installed in the gym. We furnished people for just about every activity that the school held during the year. John Henningsen, Don Brown and Jim Hurtubise were stalwarts in the band. They also took part in the Minstrel where Jimmy Hurtubise literally “put” them in the aisles singing. Betty Jane was assiting Mr. Bowler for the Minstrel and also helped Mrs. Yule with the Senior Play, “Peg of My Heart”. All the boys took part in athletics with John and Jim playing all three sports, Don playing baseball and basketball and Robby playing basketball. Betty Jane was a varsity cheerleader, while Jane Wart captained the J.V.cheering squad. 25
