GlaAA, We, the class of 1954 of Hartwick High Schoo, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish, and declare this our last will and testament. Bob Ryan leaves to Don Brown his ability to write letters. Joyce Persons leaves her excess weight to Patsy Raime. Frank McGrath leaves his milk pail to Herb Schweitzer. Ann Patterson leaves her cheerleading position to her sister Betsy. Leland Beach leaves the car on Sunday afternoons to Jim Hurtubise for pleasure drives around the country. Mitzi Domion leaves to Jane Wart her ability to love’em and leave’em. Charles Hadley leaves to Roy Nersessian his refereeing ability. Irene Parker leaves her white sweater to Esther Schidzick. Earl Roberts leaves his ability to get along with Mr. Dennin to Bob Smith so Bob can stay out of trouble in class. Virginia Mistretta leaves her innocent look to Betty Polulech. John Polulech leaves to John Henningsen his ability to keep his class ring. The Senior Class leaves to Mr. Carroll the incoming senior class, in hopes that he can get as much co-operation from them as he got from us. Lastly, we appoint the future president of the incoming seniors, executor of this, our last will and testament. This will, signed, sealed, published, and declared by Frank McGrath. 21

a6A Imagine that you are looking at a copy of the 1970 “New York Times”. The headlines read: The president of the United States, Frank P. McGrath has finally gotten his purposed bill passed. His bill states that all U.S. Schools start at 10:30 A. M. to insure the students more sleep. OH! OH! Leland C. Beach, the real estate tycoon, and stock broker (who also has cornered the market on sharpening U. S. and Canadian lawn mowers) has recently sold the White House to the multi-millionaire Robert L. Ryan. It is to be the site of the 10 millionth “Ryan’s Roadhouse.” Here is an article about the famous model, Mitzi Domion. It says that she has just sold the Sunshine Cracker Company the right to use her name on a new type of cracker and oh yes, she’s just divorced another husband. Charles H. Hadley, noted historian and joke teller has recently relieved himself of his position as President of Columbia University. He wants more time to play golf and observe progress at his Briar Pipe Manufacturing Company. The Vice President of the United States, Miss Ann Patterson is suing one of her former classmates, Miss Joyce Persons for slander. It seems that Miss Persons was writing her weekly column “Advice to the Lovelorn” and mentioned a certain love affair of 1954. Irene G. Parker of the Parker Gum Company has just offered to be the first passenger of the newly developed flying cup. (What won’t they think of next?) One of the ads says that Earl C. Roberts, who monopolizes the new and used car industries, is about to manufacture the first super- sonic jet automobile. It will be on the market in 5 years. Its name is the Roberts Road Hog. Virginia Mistretta, noted comedian is leaving for New York in the morning from Hollywood to complete her new comedy “Ginger Come Home.” John C. Polulech, noted producer of T. V. programs has just announced his plans for a new show, “A Million A Minute.” Big John plans to donate personally. He has to get rid of it somehow. prophecy
