It stands for all the classes, activities throughout the year, the Board of Education, the faculty and the Administration. Each one of these plays a vital part in making our school a better institu- tion 2 The Class of 1951 dedicates the Hub to Mr, William E, Dalrymple for they feel he has not only helped them to improve their sportsmanship but through this has made them more capable and understanding students. His friendliness, sincerity, and generosity make him a person to look up to, and one to pattern our lives after. Dances and movies were a part of their vigorous campaign to make money. They worked famously on the school paper and year book all year to make both outstanding. They sold new Huskie shirts which made a hit with everyone. The Senior play was presented March 14th and 15th. The seniors made the annual trip to New York City during Easter Vacation. The average height of the starting five: John Burns, Francis Schweitzer, Charles Rollins, Ray Po- lulech and Captain John Mistretta was a mighty 6’ 1 . Able substitutes Joe Truex, John Tubbs and' Bill Gros- linger saved many a game for the Huskies. The team brought home the first two cups ever awarded H.H.S. in athletics by winning co-champion- ship in the league and the playoff championship. YJ.V's Football Hartwick produced the best football team on the history of the school.
