if f , On December 24, the high school en- joyed Guest House - Exclusive , a timely one-act play showing how lonely Mrs. Kimble, the owner of a boarding house, tried to unite her paying guests into one happy family on Christmas day. Un- der the able coaching of Miss O'Brien, the cast, including Eva Weddle, George Meg- ginson, Jacqueline Bunner, lNfae Speeg, jim LeRoy and Thelma Gajus, gave a creditable performance of the characters responsible for bringing satisfaction to a lonely woman at Christmas. In April, the English IV classes pre- sented a program including two original plays, the reading of several original edi- torials, and the singing of original and Shakespearian ballads. The program was the result of the inspiring help and tech- nical direction offered by Miss O'Brien in her effort to afford her pupils the oppor- tunity of developing their talent and increasing their knowledge.
