.yfwl fright IU'- ll' - Class Officers , , f lVe the -Iuniorsw organized as a class early in the beginning of the year by selecting Ray Porter president, Roberta Hopkins vice-president, Ruth Speak secretary, and Neil Car- stens treasurer. Immediately we began to plan for the yearls program. Selling candy at football and basketball games, giving a pic supper at Williamsdale Community House, selling magazine subscriptions and stationery, we obtained the needed amount of money for the annual junior-Senior Prom. The Prom was held at the University of Cincinnati Y.lNI.C.A. with Victor Adkins, orchestra furnishing the music. In athletics we were well represented, with some of our boys on the varsity teams, the girls carrying away honors on the volleyball and basketball courts, one of our members on the cheerleading squad, plus several representa- tives on the pep squad. The only class in the high school to have a one hundred per cent sale of defense stamps, not once but several times, was the junior boys' home room, sponsored by Mr. Nfiller. With the close of school came the selection of archbearers by the seniors, followed by daisy picking and the making of arches for the graduation exercises.
